I’m John, but I use the name “J.S.” on my projects so as not to be confused with this John Epperson. Anyway, call me Jay.

I’m a best-selling recording artist and an innovator in the field of brain-entrainment meditation music. A graduate of the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, my interest in psychoacoustics lead to a collaboration with Professor Barbara Bullard that resulted in several projects that pioneered the use of designer music embedded with Beta frequencies to enhance focus and concentration, including the best selling albums Remembrance and Einstein’s Dream. In partnership with The Monroe Institute, my work has appeared on 9 Hemi-Sync® Metamusic® CDs and two groundbreaking meditation DVDs, including the INATS® award winner lightSOURCE: A Sacred Geometry Experience. I am the creator of TLC NeuroTechnology™, an audio meditation tool developed for The Lovit Center for Consciousness Studies. I’m Johusic.com and the cofounder of Sacred Journeys with Matthew Joyce. My work has appeared on guided meditation projects with Robert Monroe, Dr. Theresa Bullard, Dr. Elisebeth Kübler-Ross, Dr. Charles Tart, Dr. Sudesh Kannan and Matthew Joyce.

I live in Seattle, I occasionally design sound for theater, I am a fair weather hiker, I enjoy working with WordPress, and I’m a company member at Redwood Theatre where I get to see free shows because I design and maintain the website.
