Gammadrone

July 10, 2010 by Jay 4 Comments

Experiments on Tibetan Buddhist monks have shown a correlation between transcendental mental states and Gamma brainwave activity. In fact, research is beginning to show that Gamma brainwaves may explain the heightened sense of consciousness, bliss, and intellectual acuity subsequent to meditation.

Gammadrone features complex brain entrainment technologies including binaural beats and monaural tones that engage several high and low range Gamma band frequencies. The entrainment carrier frequencies are keyed to correspond with the crown chakra energy centers, which are associated with the thalamus and the hypothalamus. (45 Minutes)

Legnth: Approximately 45 Minutes
Frequencies: Gamma, Theta
Tempo: 72 BPM
Entrainment: Binaural Beats, MonauralTones
Uses: Creative Flow, Focus, Concentration, Light Meditation

    Hello Mr Epperson,

I have quite a few of your mp3′s (from Amazon) but this one I like the most. Helps me meditate much deeper and easily.
Please keep up the good work.

    Regards

    Waqas

This one is ace Jay :-) thanks for the free 7 min version – I am going to buy the longer one now.
is this isochronic as well as binaural? is that possible?
am asking as the tags mention both..
also it says monaural as well – that means its ok to listen without headphones? is that right?

    sorry for all the questions!

Wow! That was a very good catch! Bandcamp, the service that currently runs my store, automatically tags songs using my default tags, which include references to “isochronic pulsing” and “isochronics”. I have now removed those two tags on the album, but so far I am unable to edit the tags on the individual tracks: I hope they sync up. Anyway – Yes, you can listen to these tracks without headphones. You will be able to hear the mono Gamma frequencies (there are three) and one Theta frequency. The other Theta frequencies are binaural and headphones will provide the best results. The additional Theta frequencies are harmonics of the dominant mono Theta and will reinforce what’s already there – headphones will probably take you deeper, but they aren’t required.

    Greetings,

I recently began listening to binaural beats as a way to help me focus, center and ground myself. It helps al ot when I am working on schoolwork, or when I just want a quiet hour to myself. I have a minor form of epilepsy, and strangely, I have noticed a decrease in episodes since I began listening to these frequencies. I have noticed that the lower frequencies, Theta, Delta and Gamma, tend to bring more peace to me. The higher ones only seem to make me more anxious. This one here that you have put together is a very relaxing and focusing one, and I am thankful that you are out there and producing these wonderful pieces of art. It feels like someone laying a lightweight, cool blanket on your mind, calming you and bringing peace for a short time. Once I get the money, I plan to purchase this one from you.
    Blessed Be, and thankyou. :3
