The first METAMUSIC® to combine theta and beta waves (Remembrance by J. S. Epperson) was released in 1994.
Shortly after the release of the album, the Monroe Institute studied the brainwaves of a person listening to Remembrance and found an increase in Beta brainwave activity and greater hemispheric coherence.
The following graph illustrates changes in the percentage of beta brainwaves for one person while listening to the beta Hemi-Sync binaural beat frequencies embedded in the powerful album Remembrance. Hemi-Sync® and Concentration
Remembrance incorporates Hemi-Sync® frequencies that guide listeners to a Beta brainwave pattern. The Beta brainwave state is associated with a heightened state of alertness and focused concentration. When your mind is actively engaged in mental activities, your dominant brainwave state is Beta. When you engage in active conversation, deal with paperwork or study, you are in a low Beta state. The brainwave states in Remembrance correspond to low beta frequencies. Most listeners experience increased physical relaxation with greater ease with tasks requiring focus and concentration.

Beta brainwaves are responsible for maintaining the high levels of brain arousal associated with sustained alertness and focused attention. Research indicates that children with ADD have a deficiency of brainwave activity in the beta region. This deficiency may be addressed by listening to beta binaural beat frequencies, eliminating some of the factors contributing to ADD.
What is Hemi-Sync®?
Hemi-Sync® is a patented audio guidance technology that works quite simply by sending different sounds (tones) to each ear through stereo headphones.
